Sensei Alan Stone 2nd Dan. |
Alan is Sensei for both Southend and Brentwood Jikishin Ju-Jitsu clubs.
Known in the clubs as Sensei, known outside the clubs as many things including Alan.
Alan has been practicing his discipline for more than 8 years (would'nt think he was old enough would you).
Alan is also known for his spraying abilities with a spray gun and with his mouth when he has had one or two pints (very very rare !) only kidding.
All round a good guy.

Dave
Brown belt
|
Having taken part in the national competitions held at our Southend Do-jo in November 2002, Dave gained a bronze medal in the Random Attacks section, the whole event saw fierce competition from our colleagues around the world and firmly put the Southend club on the map.
Dave has recently brought his young son Rhys and a few of his school friends into the Jikishin fold - all are getting on well and it's great to see so many young faces interested in the sport.
Dave works in London in the Banking world - involved in managing projects for a Treasury Division. He can often be found in the departure lounge at London City Airport, jetting here and there on the pretence of doing some work - yeah good one!!, where does all that money go in Geneva and Jersey anyway (who said that about tax exiles).

Les
White belt
|
What can we say about Les? Started Ju Jitsu at a later stage in his life
But he is now getting used to being thrown all over the place. Not because of Ju Jitsu, but just because people like to throw him all over the place.
Only joking, besides he's a good mate.

Lee is now over his hernia problems and is back training again, so well done. But I still prefer the old picture for him. Just think you could be going to work on the train one morning safe in the knowledge that Lee is driving you there. mmm.... |
